Taiwan-從心再出發

台灣的Flamenco圈在這二年有了很大的變化，不僅普遍程度提昇，專業程度也一年一年往上發展。除了國內人士長期的努力之外，另一股來自於西班牙歸國學人所挹注的力量也漸漸開始發酵。

從心再出發-本月份最受人矚目的活動之一，.這場由甫自西班牙歸台的朋友們所呈現的演出，雖沒有太多的宣傳活動，在圈內早已傳遍，另人期待的程度，據說票房早在消息一傳出即已爆滿。，

演出者除了本地舞者、吉他手，並邀請來自日本的歌手，節目呈現的方式將是台灣現今所見少數傳統、完整的演出之一。

Artist - Ana Ramo

Born in France, of Spanish parents, Ana Ramo began studying classical dancing and music. She learnt music theory, piano and various different idioms of dance. Later, she discovered Flamenco, the perfect way to combine her love of music and her vocation as a dancer.
In 1991, she moved to Madrid where she studied Flamenco in the famous Flamenco school "Amor de Dios", with one of the best Flamenco teachers (Ciro, Merche Esmeralda, El Güito, Antonio Canales….) while also continuing with her training in Spanish classical dancing and re-discovering classical ballet in the classes of Nadine Boisaubert.
From 1994, she worked in several informal "Tablaos" in Madrid (Soniquete, Corral de la Moreria, etc) and set up a production with her group "Flamenco Improvisation" which she moved in various different flamenco places in Madrid and in France. During this period she also gave "sevillanas" and flamenco classes in Madrid (Mostoles, Papageno Cultural centre, Palladium gymnasium…)
Returning to France in 1999, Ana Ramo contributed, as a flamenco dancer to several projects set up by contemporary choreographers ("Parade de Nanterre" by Pierre Doussaint, "2000 and One Dances" at the CND). She also worked with Cécile Apsara, and set up productions with several flamenco groups in Paris, in the provinces (Chartres, Rheims…), and abroad (Spain, Morocco)
From June 2000, she was Artistic Director of SONIDOS NEGROS ("Black Sounds"). Till 2005, she work as a teacher in some of the best dance center in Paris: Studio Harmonic and Flamenco-en-France (the french association for flamenco in Paris). She was invited to make workshops in provinces too: Rheims, Metz and La Rochelle. At the same time, her first choregraphy "Nesba", in which she also danced, was shown in Paris and in Chartres, in several different theatres and cultural centres (Café de la Danse, Théâtre de Chartres, Centre Culturel St Gratien) to considerable critical acclaim. Young Flamenco artists - including Manuel Reyes and José Barrios - were invited to participate in the show. Her second piece, "DOS" was shown for six weeks in the Paris theatre "Les Déchargeurs". Her las work, "Los cinco sentidos" (The Five Senses) was shown at the Théâtre de L'Oulle during the Alternative Avignon Festival in 2005. For this show, the company invited the young dancer Carlos Carbonell to participate.
From 2005 to now, Ana Ramo, lives between Paris and Madrid, emphasizing her teaching activities by organizing workshops in Paris, and classes in Madrid.
